Bike Course

Dress warm for the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon leg and make sure your support crew is carrying extra clothes for you. Conditions on the bike leg are changeable; cold up at the top of the mountains and plateau, warmer down in the valleys. Swim Course

The Norseman Xtreme Triathlon swim is a deep water start in the middle of the fjord. You get there via a car ferry and have to jump 5 meters into the cold depths of the water. This can be a bit startling for the body. Make sure you wear the thickest wetsuit you can, and dress warm. Run Course

Once you hit T2, change into your running clothes and say good-bye to your support crew. They will not be able to follow you for the first 25k of the run.
