Ironman UK Bike Course

As mentioned before, there is over 7,000 feet of climbing on the Ironman UK bike course throughout the three laps. 7,291 feet, to be exact. Mentally prepare yourself for the challenge ahead and you’ll be fine. Out of transition, the road surface is quite rough, so if it’s not raining, try and ride on the white line. Swim Course

The Ironman UK swim is pretty much a straightforward affair. It’s a two-loop swim on an anti-clockwise course. The water is cold and calm and once you’ve gone through the mad rush at the start, you’ll have plenty of space to get into your rhythm and get your speed down. Ironman UK Run Course

The Ironman UK run starts with an 8-mile journey from T2 to Bolton. From here, it’s a three-lap out and back to complete the marathon distance. On the final lap the athletes will turn onto Victoria Square from le Mans Crescent for their moment of glory along the finish line.
