The Ironman St George bike course is where the fun starts. It’s a point-to-point course rolls on mostly rolling terrain, climbing and descending frequently, with a net elevation gain. The Ironman St George swim takes place Sand Hollow Reservoir. It’s a straight-forward single loop swim on a rectangular counter-clockwise course. The water temperature is around the mid-60s F so expect a very cold swim. Being in a reservoir, the water is expected to be calm, with very little wind.
