The Ironman Lanzarote swim takes place in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at Playa Grande, Puerto del Carmen, the main tourist resort of the island. The final part of Ironman Lanzarote - the marathon consists of a longer loop of 18.66km followed by two shorter loops of 11.8km each.
